Victoria Swarovski’s beautiful wedding dress which featured 500,000 crystals
The heiress to a crystal fortune, Victoria Swarovski, certainly lived up to wedding expectations when she arrived at her ceremony wearing a truly glittering gown. The 23-year-old singer was pictured wearing a princess-style ball gown which made her sparkle from head to toe. Her wedding dress has been reported as being embellished with 500,000 crystals, with a six-metre train.
Made by couture designer, Michael Cinco, the dress is estimated to have cost £700,000 and weighed a massive 46kg. According to reports, Cinco has also designed clothing for the likes of Rihanna, Beyoncé, Jennifer Lopez and Lady Gaga. The bride completed the stunning look with a cathedral-length veil and Jimmy Choo heels.
Singer Victoria married her sweetheart, Werner Murz in Italy. The couple have been together six years and they said “I do” at the Trieste Cathedral in the port town of Trieste. There were reportedly 250 friends and family members at the ceremony, which then moved to a party in the Falisia hotel and spa in Portopiccolo for the reception.
Guests were greeted at the reception with a delicious sit-down dinner in an alfresco restaurant, where they all watched the sun go down together.
The couple had a five-tier wedding cake and then watched a spectacular fireworks display.
Following the fireworks display, Victoria changed into a strapless white, crystal embellished gown, then treated her guests to a song. The bride has an ongoing record deal with with Sony, and is set to enjoy her honeymoon with her new husband in the south of France.
Since the wedding, the couple have been pictured on a yacht. Taking to Instagram she wrote, “Happiest girl ever… #loveofmylife.”
She then posted a photo the day after the wedding with the tag saying: “Can’t tell you how happy I am… thank you so much to everyone for your kind words feel so blessed!”
