The former Baywatch star certainly lead his Twitter followers to believe that a wedding was on the horizon after a posting a number of cryptic messages on the social network site. The 59-year-old actor made no secret of the fact that he has proposed twice, and been turned down twice, by his girlfriend of one year, 32-year-old Hayley.

However fans of the Hoff though his luck might have changed in 2012 as the Knight Rider star posted a picture of Twitter of himself on bended knee beside his blonde girlfriend. The caption accompanying the snap read, “Tried it again on top of the Sydney Harbour Bridge.” Later uploading another picture, this time of the couple kissing, with a comment that said, “What do you think she said?!”

Former Debenhams worker, Hayley, added further fuel to the fire by adding her own comment to the Tweet, a huge smiley face followed by a line of kisses. Not surprisingly, it was quickly assumed the couple had got engaged and another celebrity wedding was imminent.

However, a day later, the Baywatch actor played down the incident, explaining that he and his model girlfriend were just having fun – at the expense of everyone else it would seem! Speaking in an interview, the Hoff clarified his romantic situation, saying that he’s having a “fantastic time” with his Welsh beauty, but that he and Hayley currently have no plans to marry.

While the young couple only officially confirmed they were dating last week at Connor Cruise’s birthday party, it’s believed they had been dating for some time prior to this. However Bella and her musician boyfriend reportedly decided to go public with their relationship at the birthday party of her DJ brother as the pair have been discussing the possibility of getting married.

Engagement rumours had been circulating earlier in the month, with the 19-year-old adding further fuel to the fire herself by posting a picture of what looks like a diamond engagement ring on her Twitter account this week with the caption, “I adore this.” #yesplease.

O’Connor and therapist Barry wed in a drive through wedding ceremony at the same chapel in Las Vegas that Britney Spears and Elvis Presley had previously tied the knot. Despite these setbacks, it seems the pair are keen to get their relationship back on track as O’Connor took again to the micro blogging page to reveal a bit too much about her “mad love making affair” with her own husband, before adding that she and Barry are to stay married, but will revert to being a boyfriend and girlfriend again as they attempt to take things slowly in an effort to save their marriage.
