Tonight’s The Night is the show that makes dreams come true for those who most deserve it. Presented by John Barrowman, we want to surprise special people with the experience of a lifetime. This year, we want to extend this star treatment to wedding parties, by giving brides, grooms and wedding guests the chance to deliver a wedding present money can’t buy.
John Barrowman said: “I am just thrilled that Tonight’s The Night is coming back to Saturday nights on BBC One. Once again I can’t wait to make the nation’s performance dreams come true.”
Alan Tyler, Executive Editor for Entertainment, said: “We’re delighted that Tonight’s the Night will be produced by BBC Scotland this summer. John has worked in the Pacific Quay studio before and we are confident that his enthusiasm for the show and for a return to Glasgow will light up the screen”.
The show is a co-production between BBC Vision’s in-house entertainment department and Barrowman Barker Productions, and will be executive produced by Louise Rainbow. The show was commissioned by BBC One Controller, Jay Hunt, Controller of Entertainment, Mark Linsey and Executive Editor for Entertainment, Alan Tyler.

can I tell you about my niece Polly she cared for her mother through years of cancer which ended 2 years ago with Pollky cuddling her in her bed . her sister then developed cancer and Polly became her carer and best friend. She has now decided to become a Marie Curie nurse to put her experiences to good use and is starting a degree course at Plymouth university. She is a trul lovely person, mother to Sarah and Jess 22 and Emily 21. She is an ardent fan of Dr Hook and goes to all the concerts Of her beloved Dennis She has a super singing voice and could duet with him on any of his numbers.
