New reality TV show looking for couples who want to get hitched

Channel 4 are searching for soon-to-be brides and grooms to take part in a new wedding show

Channel 4 is currently scouring the country looking for engaged couples to star in their brand new reality TV show, Wedding House.

The only criteria for becoming a Wedding House contestant is that you and your partner must be willing to get married, or renew your vows, in front of a TV audience of millions. Contestants of all ages, gender, and religion will be considered for the show.

The programme will air this autumn on Channel 4 as part of 8 separate one-hour long episodes. The weddings will take place over the coming months, and the closing date for applications is April 15th 2010. Channel 4 are promising loved-up couples the “wedding of your dreams without the drama” in exchange for tying the knot on television.

For cash-strapped couples dying to walk down the aisle, Wedding House could be the perfect solution as Channel 4 will foot the entire bill for your wedding. With the average UK wedding costing in the region of £20,000, that’s an offer which shouldn’t be sniffed at.

The brides and grooms-to-be who make it on to the show will be helped in their quest for the perfect wedding day by a whole host of experts including a professional wedding planner and stylist to help them achieve their dream wedding. Whatever your taste or style, Wedding House will help you create a day which is tailored to your specific likes and dislikes.
