Swedish Royal wedding cancelled after kiss-and-tell revelation

The Swedish Royal wedding between Princess Madeline and Jonas Bergstrom has been called off after a Bournemouth student spoke about her fling with the Princess’s fiancé.
A Norwegian student, studying at Bournemouth University, told how she had a one-night-stand with Bergstrom after meeting in a nightclub at an exclusive Swedish Ski resort.
21-year-old Torra Uppstrom Berg revealed all in an interview with a Norwegian gossip magazine. She claimed that she had no idea who Bergstrom was, or that he was due to marry into the Swedish royal family. The student added that she felt sorry for the princess for having an “unfaithful man.”
Initially after the news broke there was no word from the palace. However on Saturday 27-year-old Princess Madeline was seen boarding a plane to the US without her engagement ring and the palace officially announced that the wedding was off. The Princess is expected to spend the next few weeks in New York coming to terms with the revelation.
The couple had been together for 8 years and became engaged last summer after associate lawyer Bergstrom proposed while the pair were on holiday on the Isle of Capri. The pair shared a flat in Stockholm and their wedding date was expected to be announced this summer.
Insiders fear this recent royal scandal could cast a shadow over the wedding of Princess Madeline’s sister, Crown Princess Victoria, which is due to take pace this June. The nuptials are said to be costing an estimated £ 9 million.
