One of the biggest Indian weddings of the year is taking place in Mumbai this week

Th lavish wedding will take place at Mumbai’s Turf Club

The pre-wedding celebrations for one of the biggest Indian weddings this year are well underway in Mumbai. The marriage of the eldest daughter of one of India’s most prominent industrialists, Champalal Vardnan, is due to take place on Friday 21st, although the party has got into full swing ahead of the nuptials.

Vardnan’s daughter, Neelam, is due to marry Tushar Parekh. The match is an arranged marriage and Neelma’s father is said to be very happy with Tushar as he believes he will make a great son-in-law.

10 separate events have been planned to celebrate the union. A number of parties have been organised in the run-up to the big day including some unusual events like a bingo night and a DJ evening, as well as the more traditional occasions like a formal sangeet and mehendi.

The bingo night has already taken place and was a hit with the many guests as the prizes which were on offer were extremely extravagant. Those who were lucky enough to get a “full house” on the night received prizes in the form of state of the art mobile phones, luxury holidays, and even sports cars.

The wedding itself is being held at the Turf Club on Friday and is expected to be a huge occasion with somewhere in the region of 5,000 guests scheduled to attend.

  1. Hey very nice blog!!

  2. I am so happy to read this. This is the kind of manual that needs to be given and not the random misinformation that’s at the other blogs. Appreciate your sharing this best doc.

  3. Wow! Thank you! I always wanted to write in my site something like that. Can I take part of your post to my blog?

  4. Zune and iPod: Most people compare the Zune to the Touch, but after seeing how slim and surprisingly small and light it is, I consider it to be a rather unique hybrid that combines qualities of both the Touch and the Nano. It’s very colorful and lovely OLED screen is slightly smaller than the touch screen, but the player itself feels quite a bit smaller and lighter. It weighs about 2/3 as much, and is noticeably smaller in width and height, while being just a hair thicker.

  5. Hi! I am so glad I discovered your internet site. I really located you by mistake, while I was seeking on Delicious for something else. Anyway, I’m here right now and would just like to say thank you for a brilliant posting and a all round intriguing blog site (I also love the theme / design). I don’t have plenty of time to look through it all at the minute but I’ve bookmarked it as well as put in your RSS feeds, so when I have time I will be returning to read more. Please do maintain the awesome task.

  6. Well I sincerely liked reading it. This tip procured by you is very useful for proper planning.

  7. If you’re still on the fence: grab your favorite earphones, head down to a Best Buy and ask to plug them into a Zune then an iPod and see which one sounds better to you, and which interface makes you smile more. Then you’ll know which is right for you.

  8. The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod’s. It works well, but isn’t as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that’s not an issue, but if you’re planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod’s larger screen and better browser may be important.

  9. I enjoy blogging when it truly is for or about something I believe in. I also read news blogs often and discover that it makes me feel considerably far more intelligent every time I read them. I also feel like I’m a pretty great person who tries to treat others with respect, no matter what their view is. You can find some real haters out there. Thanks once again. I learned a couple of things about blogging. I will undoubtedly put your website on my speed dial.

This piece truly did turn the light on for me personally as far as this topic goes. Nonetheless at this time there is actually just one point I am not really too cozy with and while I attempt to reconcile that with the actual main theme of the position, permit me see just what all the rest of your subscribers have to point out.Nicely done.

  25. I want to know if theres any alcohol in the T H Egg Nog flavored ice cream. I know theres supposed to be rum flavoring, which concerns me. I guess my complaint is that its not clear in the ingredients. Is the rum flavoring imitation with traces of alcohol, or none at all? I just want clarity.

  40. A Few highlights from the first 500 pages of the Healthcare Bill in congress Contact your Representatives and let them know how you feel about this. We,as a country, cannot afford another 1000 page bill to go through congresswithout being read. Another 500 pages to go. I have highlighted a few of theitems that are downright unconstitutional. Page 22: Mandates audits of all employers that self-insure Page 29: Admission: your health care will be rationed Page 30: A government committee will decide what treatments and benefitsyou get (and, unlike an insurer, there will be no appeals process) Page 42: The Health Choices Commissioner will decide health benefitsfor you. Nojudicial review is permitted against the government monopoly. Put simply, private Insurers will be crushed. Page 127: The AMA sold doctors out: the government will set wages. Page 145: An employer MUST auto-enroll employees into the government-runpublic plan. No alternatives. 41. A very very interesting article! I’ll try to track that continues here! Thank you.

  42. You can definitely see your enthusiasm in the paintings you write. The sector hopes for more passionate writers such as you who are not afraid to say how they believe. Always go after your heart.

  43. The Zune concentrates on being a Portable Media Player. Not a web browser. Not a game machine. Maybe in the future it’ll do even better in those areas, but for now it’s a fantastic way to organize and listen to your music and videos, and is without peer in that regard. The iPod’s strengths are its web browsing and apps. If those sound more compelling, perhaps it is your best choice.

  44. Love this machine!!!!!!!!!!! It can be really good to you or really bad. LOL Thanks for posting.

  45. Thanks once againfor this fascinatingread.

  46. Truly useful. Continue to keep those types of blogposts coming back.
