New Asian wedding magazine to be launched in Slough
New Indian wedding magazine is unveiled in Slough
The Shaadi Express is a brand new Asian wedding magazine which is being distributed for free in the Slough area.
Published by the Express, the first edition of the glossy magazine features 68 pages of advice and features which will be of interest to all Asian couples planning their big day.
8,000 copies of the new publication have been delivered to homes in the Slough area ahead of the magazine’s official launch tomorrow (Saturday) in Slough town centre.
The Shaadi Express has been described by its content editor, Sonia Kapur, as the “ultimate guide to Asian weddings.” The magazine will feature lots of real-life weddings to provide inspiration, plus advice from those working within the industry, and the first edition includes tips from Shay and Sunny Grewal who starred in the Channel 4 documentary, The Family.
Shaadi translates in English as marriage, the traditional shaadi in Asian culture is a colourful lavish affair. These occasions often feature hundreds, sometimes thousands of guests as an Indian wedding is seen as a celebration of the union of the two families as well as the couple.
Mantra Weddings is the UK’s first online Asian wedding magazines. The website offers Asian brides and grooms-to-be all of the latest wedding news, plus advice from wedding experts, and an online directory of Asian wedding suppliers.
