Model Lara Stone reveals her wedding dress designer for marriage to David Walliams

Lara Stone announces who will design her wedding dress when she marries David Walliams

Model Lara Stone has revealed that Givenchy designer Riccardo Tisci will design her wedding dress for her forthcoming nuptials to comedian David Walliams.

The Dutch model made the announcement during a recent magazine interview, she was also featured in a racy photo shoot for the same publication.

26-year-old Lara and leading fashion designer Riccardo Tisci go back a long way as he is partly responsible for launching her career into the big time. Back in 2006, shortly after the model singed with top agency IMG, Tisci chose her to open the Haute Couture Givenchy show in Paris.

Lara’s career took off fantastically after this show and she has since walked the catwalk for the biggest names in fashion including Chanel, Prada, Marc Jacobs, Calvin Klein, Louis Vuitton, Stella McCartney and many, many more.

No official word has been heard as to when the big day will actually take place, although there are plenty of rumours. A tabloid newspaper recently reported that Lara and David will tie the knot as early as this May, at the lavish Claridges Hotel in London’s Mayfair.

The couple announced their engagement this January after the 38-year-old Little Britain star went down on one knee in Los Angeles after gaining consent from the Dutch model’s parents.
