Jessica Simpson has eyes set on creating bridal range

After singing, acting, creating a fragrance and a designer range that boasts shoes, handbags, swimwear and accessories, Jessica Simpson is set to create her own range of fairytale wedding gowns. The 31-year-old is engaged to Eric Johnson and is planning her own nuptials sometime this year; however, this won’t stop her from growing her fashion empire further by stepping into the lucrative market of wedding clothing.

According to the Hollywood grapevine, the blonde beauty has always wanted to design wedding dresses and her attempt at entering the market is in conjunction with her upcoming nuptials.

A source told In Touch Weekly: “A wedding line is something she’s always wanted to do.”

Already, celebrity fashionistas are predicting the fate of her upcoming bridal range. Daniel Musto is a stylist on Simpson’s reality show Fashion Star. He says that the style of the star’s own wedding dress will prove crucial for the success of her bridal gown line: “If she does something that’s going to be memorable for decades, her wedding line is going to be successful because girls will want to mimic it.”

Simpson is famous for enhancing her fashion range along with major events in her life. The star, who gave birth to her first child in May this year, released a maternity range to coincide with her pregnancy.

Jessica Simpson creations are a thriving market in the US, featuring in over 650 stores across the country.

It remains to be seen whether her bridal range will take the wedding industry by storm. At the moment, the fashion star seems content and increasing her business in a sensible way.
