Drew Barrymore talks engagement and wedding plans in TV interview
Hollywood actress Drew Barrymore has opened up about her engagement to boyfriend Will Kopelman in a recent interview on Good Morning America. The 36-year-old actress revealed she and art consultant Will got engaged over Christmas after he popped the question during a romantic getaway in Sun Valley Idaho.
While the 50 First Dates actress described being thrilled at the prospect of getting married, she admitted that she hasn’t even begun to think about what type of wedding she wants as she’s still basking in that “just engaged” feeling as remarked during the TV interview, “is it okay to keep daydreaming?”, and leave the hard working of wedding planning to the side for the time being it would seem! The beaming actress also gave viewers a glimpse of her huge engagement ring, which boasts an incredible 4-carat diamond.
Drew Barrymore is reported to have started dating Will Kopelman, who is the son of former Chanel CEO, Arie Kopelman, in late 2010, although the first reports of their blossoming relationship didn’t emerge until early 2011.
The impeding nuptials will mark Drew’s third crack at marriage as the actress first tied the knot in 1994 with a Welsh bar owner named Jeremy Thomas. Unfortunately the marriage was very short-lived, with the newlyweds calling time on their relationship after just a month of married life. Drew’s second marriage didn’t fare much better as the 2001 wedding to Tom Green ended in divorce after five months.
