After using him as a point in advertisements, Donald Trump has been pictured dropping by a wedding reception at his New Jersey golf course.

Although, according to reports Trump was already at the location hosting a fundraiser for a Republican congressman, Tom McArthur. However, on Saturday night images were posted on social media of the President dancing with a bride and giving a speech.

Further images that were released featured him smiling with the newly-married couple and handing out what looked like a signed red cap.

In a statement, one of the guests at the wedding described the appearance as a whirlwind, but unfortunately it only lasted a short while.

‘It was very brief. He waved to everyone. Everyone obviously got very excited, got out of their chairs and came to take pictures,’ Sean Burke said.
‘The bride came running out and he gave her a big hug and a kiss so she was just ecstatic. And then the groom found out, too… No one knew it was going to happen.’

‘He walked in and he walked out. It was three to four minutes, max.

‘It was very impromptu. It wasn’t theatrical.’

The appearance was made after the golfing company was scrutinized for using his name and membership as a selling-point to potential guests in their brochures, on its website and in general advertising.

According to reports, one of the brochures read, ‘If he is on-site for your big day, he will likely stop in & congratulate the happy couple,’
‘He may take some photos with you but we ask you and your guests to be respectful of his time & privacy.’

Since Trump made his appearance at the newlyweds reception and advertising reports have come to light, the brochures are said to have been discontinued.
