Calke Abbey is set to have its very own ‘pop-up wedding village’
A unique and stylish “pop up-wedding village” in Calke Abbey is aiming to provide all the essentials to create a memorable wedding day.
The organisers are planning to include a festival style venue, which promises the very best flowers, wedding dresses and cakes. The event will be proudly catered by more than 60 wedding suppliers from across the UK.
Packed full of wedding fabulousness, the marquees and tipis will be surrounded by inspirational stalls and a space for as many as 240 visitors. A space that all brides will be allowed to bring members of their wedding party for a browse. The stalls will include personalised gifts for the bride and groom, flowers, cakes, wedding dresses and everything else one would need to celebrate their special day.
As well as stalls for wedding prep, there will be sections of the village cordoned with food and drink areas. This will give guests an opportunity to rest and socialise.
Helen Stephenson, one of the organizers, said: “This event is a must if you are searching for something special and stylish. Calke Abbey is one of Derbyshire’s most unique wedding venues.”
Organized by Save the Date Magazine, the ‘pop-up village’ is set to arrive at Calke Abbey on Sunday, April 9th and will run from 11am-4pm. Tickets are £3 each, and although you can pay on the door organizers are advising wedding parties to book in advance to avoid disappointment. The tickets can be pre-booked online.
