Alicia Keys gets hitched in Corsica
Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz exchanged vows on the island of Corsica
Multi-award winning singer songwriter Alicia Keys married fiancé Swizz Beatz on Saturday on the sun soaked Mediterranean island of Corsica.
The bride, who is expecting the couple’s first child together, chose a simple one-shoulder Grecian style wedding gown by top designer Vera Wang. The singer finished off her wedding look with a pair of Louboutin heels, and a delicate hair band.
The groom, Swizz, real name Kaseem Dean, chose a smart white tuxedo jacket by Tom Ford for the nuptials.
Prior to the wedding, the showbiz couple had been spotted on the beach in Corsica topping up their tans ahead of the nuptials.
It is the second marriage for Swizz who has only recently received his divorce from his previous wife. The 31-year-old is a well respected music producer and has helped create hits for the likes of Beyonce and Jay-Z in the past.
Swizz, has two children from his previous marriage, his 9-year-old son was called upon to perform Best Man duties at the wedding.
The couple have been dating since the end of 2008. They announced their engagement and the news that 29-year-old singer was pregnant in May of this year.
A number of high profile names were present to see the pair exchange their vows including Queen Latifah, Tommy Hilfiger, Christian Louboutin, and U2’s Bono. A source at the wedding described the ceremony as “magical.”
